How many Sudoku puzzles are there?

Sudoku which stands for Japanese word has a meaning of Digit-Single and was originally called Number Place). Sudoku is a logic-based with a combination number-placement puzzle. The objective is to fill a 9×9 grid with digits so that each column, each row, and each of the nine 3×3 small grids that compose the grid (also called "boxes", "blocks", or "regions") contains all of the digits from 1 to 9. The puzzle setter provides a partially completed grid, which for a well-posed puzzle has a single solution.

Believe it or not, there are a total of 6,670,903,752,021,072,936,960 possible solutions, yet when mathematicians took away rotations, reflections, permutations and relabeling, which takes away the same puzzle in just a different form, the number of solutions was 5,472,730,538.

Well, having 5 Billion solutions for a simple-minded but yet mind-boggling game is still amazing right?
